The State of the Region's Transit: TRU 2018 Annual Meeting

Join us for the biggest transit event of 2018!
Learn what’s happening in SE MI public transit and what you can do to make it better.
Top leaders from the area's transit agencies will provide updates on their progress in 2017 and plans for 2018, then will take your questions. The State of Transit panel will include:
- RTA Board Chair Paul Hillegonds
- Detroit Chief of Mobility Innovation Mark de la Vernge
- DDOT Deputy Director Angelica Jones
- SMART Deputy General Manager Robert Cramer
And will be moderated by WXYZ TV 7's Chuck Stokes.
The event will also feature presentation of Regional Transit Awards and election of TRU's Board of Directors (voting available to paid TRU members).
Because transit impacts everyone, this event is free and open to the public. For those who can, a suggested donation of $20 or more will help defray costs and support TRU's transit advocacy all throughout the year.
The program will begin at 6:15pm, preceded by a VIP / Speakers Reception at 5pm (with a $50 donation) and a strolling dinner reception for everyone at 5:30pm.
