Invest: : Byway Signage Plans

In partnership with MDOT, America's Byway Resource Center and Hamilton Anderson Associates, the WA3 is developing a Woodward Signage program to visually brand Woodward as one of America's Byways. Signs will be placed at various intervals along Woodward and will complement existing wayfinding signs in areas along Woodward in Midtown Detroit and developing plans in Ferndale. WA3 is working with MDOT to hopefully approve a signage design in the Fall of 2009 with plans to erect signs in the Spring of 2010. The signage plan is paid in part with Federal National Scenic Byway funds.
