Woodward Tributes

If you've been to downtown Ferndale lately, chances are you've seen the Woodward Tribute installed September 2008 just north of Nine Mile on Woodward.

What's a Tribute?  The WA3's innovative and interpretive signage, markeing and branding program. Each Tribute will have a theme that celebrates and tells the Woodward story - whether it's cruising or auto heritage, labor, innovation and technology or music and culture -- through a series of 30 ft., glass and solar-powered pillars.

Two more Tributes are in development. The WA3 is currently working with the City of Pontiac and the Detroit-Wayne County Joint Building Authority funded in part by MDOT and $440,000 in Federal National Scenic Byway funds and a $10,000 MotorCities grant.
